Roles and Responsibilities

We invite you to bring your Finance & Accounting into play as you will be part of the Global business finance team and you will interact with Internal stakeholders, Head of Accounting, Corporate Managers, Finance Directors and Finance Controllers, Senior stakeholders onshore/ offshore/ cross functional department. To succeed in this role you must have MBA, M.Com, CA (Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green belt certified) 8+ years of relevant experience. Are you our new Manager- Finance

You will join our Finance department

As our new Manager- Finance you will be part of the RSC F&A team at Gurgaon location. Where you will be supporting the Ramboll Global colleagues.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Supervise the day-to-day work activities of all finance process stream.
  • Supervise the processing of company payables, including but not limited to, Finance & Accounting department mail distribution, and the accurate and timely processing of all invoices and expense reports
  • Supervise timely review of reporting & General Ledger tasks
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of line of business general ledger accounts
  • Analysis, communication and resolution of material variances between the general ledger and upstream systems; as defined by line of business
  • Resolves complex accounting issues or assists other company’s personnel in resolving financial issues
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and adjustments, including supporting documentation and appropriate descriptions
  • Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
  • Ensuring that all internal and external support inquiries are resolved accurately on time
  • Supervise departmental staff to ensure efficient and effective departmental performance. This includes staffing positions, training, performance management, and of departmental goals and measurements. Maintain a work environment that supports a high level of motivation, productivity, and morale and ensures fairness for each team member
  • Assists with the timely closing of GL & reporting at the end of each financial period, including coordination with stakeholders.
  • Assist to develop and implement performance matrix to ensure timely completion of departmental deadlines, compliance with accounting procedures and policies
  • Develop and maintain departmental procedures and conduct regular review of work performed by department team members. Publish (monthly) KPI and SLA achievement report
  • Keep abreast of developments and best practices in the accounting field. Maintain knowledge necessary to develop department goals and programs, and retain professional competence

  • Knowledge of best practices and policies of GL & Reporting. Prior experience of initiating service operations from scratch.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures with strong accounting background
  • Should have led the team of 15-30 FTE with Subject Matter Expert reporting to him.
  • Should have led onsite transition with team of 10-15 FTEs in GL & Group reporting.
  • Supports group reporting & consolidation of financial statements activities.
  • Experience in dealing with vendors/ customers as well as internal organizational customers
  • Experience of stabilizing team
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of commitment to customer service and follow up, proven ability to effectively collaborate with others in a cross-functional, Global virtual team-based environment.
  • 5-8 year of experience in Financial SSO and 4-5 yrs. experience in people management.
