Job Description
- To ensure that all quality standards are met
To maintain ISO 9001 and support the maintenance of the 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems
To ensure safe working practices are followed at all times and to support improvements to safety, staff welfare and environmental impacts
To drive the continuous improvement of quality, customer service and costs
To manage department resources to meet the budget and the requirements of the production schedule.
To lead and influence other department to ensure that Quality matters are fully supported.
To manage the performance and development of department staff, including identifying training needs, coaching and promoting teamwork.
To develop and maintain co-operative relationships with customers, suppliers, legislative bodies and other external contacts for the good of the business.
To assist the Senior Management Team in the development of Plant strategy and budget
To ensure all relevant records are maintained
To keep the Senior Management Team appraised of developments in Quality Standards
