Application Security Practice Manager is responsible for the development of business packaged solutions & joint solution and service offerings with Micro Focus Strategic Customers, Alliances and Partnership Ecosystem. This position is responsible for the conceptualization, architecture, design, and implementation of emerging Application Security use cases in collaboration with the cross-functional teams (direct & in Direct sales team) addressing emerging cybersecurity needs & challenges. A key requirement is to identify market opportunities leveraging Micro Focus Application Security and 3rd party partner technologies to address market requirements and present solution alternatives to stakeholders in terms of strengths, weaknesses, implications, risks, costs, and benefits including a recommended way forward. Conceptualize and support productizing solution prototypes to assist go-to-market initiatives.
The ideal candidate will engage with customers & partners to define joint go-to-market solution/service offering development initiatives against defined business needs and provide corresponding solution specifications. < pillar name> Solutions Practice Manager should bring a proven track record of solving large, complex cybersecurity challenges, and maintaining a central knowledge repository for architecture models and security standards.
Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Application Security market needs/challenges and how Micro Focus Security technologies can address market requirements.
  • Identify, interpret, and articulate business functional & non-functional requirements and business processes.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and development of joint go-to-market solutions/services offerings with partners leveraging proven industry standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership within the customer & partner ecosystem to develop pragmatic ideas and go-to-market initiatives leveraging current and emerging Cybersecurity technologies in the areas of Application Security.
  • Identify and present solution alternatives to stakeholders articulating strengths, weaknesses, implications, risks, cost, and benefits including a recommended way forward. This includes upstream and downstream integrations with 3rd party solutions.
  • Design and develop solution architecture in alignment with industry best practices, and security standards & frameworks.
  • Lead proof-of-concept and proof-of-technology engagements with customers & partners.
  • Create solution collaterals and concept demonstrations to support joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Develop and expand/strengthen an ecosystem of influencers to maximize joint go-to-market opportunities.
  • Support solution marketing, demand generation, training, and delivery engagements to establish sales best practices, and global rollout initiatives.

Education and Experience

  • Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar fields.
  • Cybersecurity Certifications or Specialization accreditation.
  • 7 to 12 years of working experience in Application Security Solutions, Identity and Access Management, and related practice development experience.
  • Experience with leading and advising partners/enterprise customers on security to include risk, governance, technology, regulatory drivers and IT security and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, ITIL standards.
