Roles and Responsibilities

Designation: Sr. Manager - Logistics Infra Design

Essential Qualifications: Engineering Graduate in Mech / IEM with exposure to Infrastructure Design related to Logistics Spaces including Storage Buildings & Systems

Job description / prerequisites - Infra Design:

Should have extensive demonstrate domain knowledge and expertise
Should have experience of at least 7 years with exposure to process design / process layout / manufacturing layout / material flow layout and design of general facility
Should be familiar with design aspects of storage buildings
Should be able to guide and instruct design support personnel to produce clear and accurate drawings for enabling error free installation/execution
Should be familiar with engineering material and numbers which will enable the person to be able to review design and bills of quantities which are prepared to enable sourcing of material
Should possess analytical skills with excel operations related to data analysis for design of spaces
Should be able to communicate with team members and stakeholders with an objective of explaining aspects of design
Should be able to draw up specifications for equipment and material related to Logistics Infra like Storage Racks, Conveyors, Lifts, Fork Lifts and other MHE and Automated Vehicles for Intra-WH movement.
Should result oriented with willingness to work extended hours when necessary
Should be willing to travel to different locations for site supervision and data collection
Should understand principles related to engineering costing, timeline estimation, lean design, workplace safety, material flow principles, engineering manufacturing practices, etc

The Role involves domestic travel as per business requirement.
